ZealiD offers two types of API integration to businesses: ZealiD API and Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC) API. The table below shows the differences and benefits of APIs.
Based on these differences, companies should decide which integration method best suits their business model.
The integration process is guided by the ZealiD Customer Success team. The steps below outline the end-to-end integration process:
- Initial meeting to discuss the integration needs;
- Credentials are issued for the Test Environment;
- The client follows the integration guide and tests until satisfied, ZealiD’s Quality Assurance team will review the integration;
- Credentials are issued for the Production environment;
- The client switches from the Test Environment to the Production Environment. ZealiD’s Quality Assurance Team will review the integration;
- The client goes live.
Integration via Partner Platforms
ZealiD has partnered with leading document and signing platforms, including DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign, and Foxit eSign. This integration option is recommended if your company already uses a signing platform and needs to add qualified electronic signatures (QES) — the highest legally recognised level of e-signature under eIDAS.
Integration via partner platforms offers the following benefits:
- Activating qualified signing via partner platforms takes less time;
- You would be able to use your current signing platform with no workflow changes;
- No technical risk is incurred.
